The solution has streamlined workflows, reduced lead times, and significantly improved internal communications. “We’ve truly transformed our digital workplace with Omnia. The solution has made communication and collaboration more efficient, allowing us to deliver results faster,” says IT Director Gert Mårs.
“By integrating Microsoft 365 and Omnia’s system, we’ve simplified access to news, HR info, tools, and processes, driving greater efficiency and faster decision-making.”
Koenigsegg, known for its cutting-edge sports cars, has overhauled its internal communications with the launch of GhostNet, built on the Omnia platform. Previously, fragmented information was distributed via email, making communication inefficient. Now, employees receive the same updates simultaneously, improving both engagement and information flow across the organization.
“We’ve significantly improved internal communications. Not only is it easier to access relevant information, but the system also ensures everyone is on the same page,” Gert notes.
By discontinuing email-based news distribution, employees were quickly onboarded to GhostNet, driving higher engagement and faster access to critical company updates. The solution’s mobile responsiveness has been crucial for employees on the move. Omnia’s platform enables access to GhostNet via mobile, and with GhostNet-TV installed in the factory canteen, workers stay updated in real-time.
The goal of the new intranet was to streamline processes, enhance information organization, and improve collaboration. With GhostNet, Koenigsegg has seen a marked improvement in process clarity, transparency, and information security.
“Processes and documents are now easy to find and update. With integrated process maps, employees can quickly navigate to the right documents, ensuring accuracy and efficiency,” Gert explains. “By using a single version of each document, we’ve eliminated confusion, improving both quality and security across the organization.”
The new system has made a significant impact, enhancing both the quality of internal communications and the security of document management, ultimately driving greater operational efficiency.
The Challenge
Koenigsegg faced fragmented internal communications and inefficient workflows. Information was distributed via email, making it difficult for employees to stay updated, resulting in delays and confusion.
The Solution
Koenigsegg implemented Omnia’s integrated Document and Management System, launching GhostNet to centralize communication and streamline processes. The solution integrates with Microsoft 365, providing easy access to news, HR information, and work processes, while also ensuring mobile accessibility for employees on the move.
The Result
The new system significantly improved internal communications, reduced lead times, and enhanced operational efficiency. Employees now receive updates simultaneously, increasing engagement and alignment. The integrated management system also boosted document accuracy, quality, and security, driving faster decision-making and streamlined workflows across the organization.
